Testimonials

For over three decades, I’ve had the pleasure of working with some of the finest men and women in law enforcement, the fire service, and local government. We gave everything we had through blood, sweat, and tears to make the world a better place. Simply saying thank you to each person I worked with seems woefully inadequate. I am honored to count many of them as some of my dearest friends. I am eternally grateful for their dedication to public service.

I have had the honor and privilege of knowing Mark for over 18 years. His hard work, dedication, and passion that he has for the law enforcement profession is put on full display every day. Mark has never allowed himself to settle for mediocracy and has always been goal oriented. His willingness to see others succeed is what sets him apart from others. I personally owe Mark a great deal of gratitude for the success I have achieved during my professional career. Often times Mark has set his personal goals aside to see that others succeed. Most importantly, Mark is a great leader and role model for his family, his department and the community he serves.

Anthony Henderson

Chief of Police, Wylie, Texas

I have observed Mark under the varied and trying situations he has faced in his roles as a Police Officer, a member of S.W.A.T., a Corporal, a Sergeant, a Lieutenant, Professional Standards Commander, a Public Information Officer, and a Patrol Shift Commander. During this time, I also observed Mark prepare himself for assuming greater leadership roles in the profession of law enforcement. Mark has graduated from the Institute of Law Enforcement Administration Management College, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation National Academy. Additionally, he has earned his Master’s Degree and is an instructor of Criminal Justice at the University of North Texas. In summary, Mark Moyle is the type of individual who serves as a role model for others. I have always been proud to be associated with this fine officer, supervisor, commander, leader, and man.

Doug Kowalski

Chief of Police, Prosper, Texas

Mark is a dedicated public servant who has worked diligently to improve himself and add value to his Police organization. A few years ago, Mark was selected to represent the Police Department in a City-wide policy project. It was during that project that I too noticed and observed his intelligence, thoroughness, agreeable demeanor, and solutions focus. Mark was an outstanding contributor to that group and, I am sure, many others before and since.

Tadd Phillips

HR & Organizatiponal Development Director at City of Georgetown

Mark is an experienced, highly knowledgeable law enforcement leader. He is well versed in professional police tactics and is an astute administrator with expertise at the highest levels of the profession.

Greg Conley

Director of Public Safety

I met Mark in 2013 while an individual had threatened my family and I. Mark and his team contacted the suspect and "advised" him of his wrongdoings and the ramifications of doing so. With success, I have no longer needed to be vigilant with this suspect's whereabouts due to Mark's professionalism. I am greatly appreciative of his service to McKinney PD and Princeton PD where he has served with honor and integrity. It seems that whatever Mark is involved with it becomes readily apparent that his background and experience lead to success for all involved.

Mark epitomizes the word "leader." For years, I watched him put his people before himself. He leads by example and exemplifies professionalism in every facet of his professional career and personal life. As someone who has lived and experienced all levels of leadership for over 25 years, I wholeheartedly support that Mark is a "one of a kind" of leader/mentor that sets the bar for other senior leaders. Hands down, he has been one of the most influential and inspirational people throughout my entire career journey. Proud to have served him and with him!

Mark is not your average leader; he has dedicated his life to protect the safety and lives of others (To Protect & Serve). Placing his life second overall!! That in my book speaks volumes of the character of this man. Now that this chapter in his life is behind him. Let’s recognize the value that Mark brings to the table confidence, drive, capacity, and pragmatism to complex projects and situations. There is not situations or project that might be too big for Mark to handle. One of his strongest attributes is his leadership skills. Allowing those that work around him to take ownership of their project and responsibilities. True leaders truly lead by example and Mark is truly one of those leaders.

Franklin I. Diaz, PA, FMP

I have known Mark since 2007, where we attended ILEA Management College together. Afterwards, we worked together on various projects while he was a LT with the Mckinney PD. We also developed a true friendship during this time as I was able to meet his family and observe Mark off-duty. As Mark became Chief of Police at Princeton, it was a natural and obvious progression. Mark is a consummate professional. He’s thoughtful, consistent and discerning in all he does. He communicates with sincerity, honesty and respect. He purposely strives to develop and improve those he works with in the various environments he finds himself. Whatever projects or endeavors Mark finds himself involved in, they will be better because of Mark.

Mark Moyle is a dedicated public servant who is very self-aware and strives for personal growth while simultaneously positions those around him for success. I first met Mark 10 years ago when he was a Lt. with the McKinney Police Department and later as Chief of Police in Princeton TX. Mark is respectful, a good listener and communicator, and provides sound advice when solicited. In addition, Mark has a friendly persona that people naturally gravitate towards. I know Mark will succeed in whatever endeavor he decides to pursue.

Daniel T. Kistner

Dynamic and Progressive Public Safety Executive - Fire Chief

I worked with Mark both at the McKinney Police Department and as a contractor while he was with Princeton PD in an effort to gain TPCA Accreditation for the Princeton Police Department. While working towards TPCA Accreditation, Mark kept in continuous contact with me. We worked diligently to bring the policies and procedures of the department into alignment with the rigorous Accreditation standards. We also worked to ensure all required training and equipment was available for all of the staff, demonstrating a commitment to best practices in law enforcement. Mark took all of these steps very seriously. He was very committed to the process as well as his department, desiring to raise the department to one that demonstrated the highest of standards and ethics. He also demonstrated a deep passion for his department and mostly for his personnel through the process. It was an honor to work alongside him and his staff. He is very passionate about law enforcement and supportive of the personnel who serve under him.

Cheree Bontrager, SPHR

Director Of Human Resources at City of University Park Texas

I was privileged to have worked with Mark Moyle for 3 1/2 years as he served as the Princeton Police Chief. I found Mark to be open, honest, professional, and driven in his pursuit to build the Princeton Police Department. Using his years of experience as an officer and his higher educational knowledge, Mark was able to make considerable positive changes which enhanced the service capability of the Police Department while focusing on the safety of his personnel. Numerous projects were completed in which we both shared ownership, and I found his cooperation and timeliness to be exceptional. One of these was the Joint Community Engagement Plan for which he displayed his passion for engaging with the community on a servant level. Mark Moyle is a skilled and talented manager. I appreciated and embraced the mentorship he provided me as we worked side by side in pursuit of increasing our communities public safety capabilities and the education and safety of our citizens.

Thomas Harvey

Fire Chief at City of Princeton TX

I have known Chief Moyle for over 30 years, all of our police careers. I watched him become a McKinney Police Officer and promote through the ranks all while obtaining higher degrees of education. Mark is an experienced law enforcement leader, an adjunct criminal justice professor, and an all-around great person and proud grandfather. If I am ever needing advice or assistance, I can always count on Mark to come through for me, you can as well.

Andrew Hawkes M.S., LCC, CPM, SSYB

Chief of Police at The Sunnyvale Texas Police Department

I had the privilege of working with Mark on the design of a new municipal center for the City of Princeton. A large portion of the project was the new home for the city’s police department, and Mark’s knowledge, experience, and input were all imperative to the project’s success. He helped our team to plan and design a facility that is not only functional, but has the safety of the city’s officers at the forefront. Without question this was always of utmost importance to Mark throughout every step of the design process from the first iteration of the floor plans through the final construction of the facility. Each time meeting with Mark was an absolute pleasure. His positive attitude and personality was always something to look forward to. While Mark may not need to contribute to the design of a new facility every day, it is obvious that he brings the same leadership and consideration for his team throughout all aspects of his work.

Kevin Plath, AIA, LEED AP

Architect | Senior Associate at Populous

Mark and I had parallel career paths at neighboring law enforcement agencies and have known each other for over 20 years. We often consulted with one another as our professional skill sets expanded to meet the operational and leadership challenges inherent to serving rapidly growing populations. The trait that consistently set Mark apart from his contemporaries was his genuine drive to help others succeed. He has always possessed a growth mindset for himself, his subordinates, and the communities he served. In situations where most supervisors would have simply implemented a "rubber stamp" style administrative action, Mark sought to understand the foundational issues at play and find practical ways to help people develop themselves. Anyone can tear others down. It takes patience, effort, and skill to build others up. Mark understands that true leaders do their best to prepare individuals *and* organizations for future success. Whether in the classroom or in uniform, Mark consistently looked for opportunities to develop, enhance, and strengthen the systems and people around him. Mark's positive influence will continue to serve citizens in multiple jurisdictions for many years to come.
